Hansika Motwani is an Indian actress who mainly acts in south Indian films. She started her career as a television actress in hindi serials like Shaka Laka Boom Boom, Des Mein Niklla Hoga Chand, Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi, Son Pari etc. She made her film debut as a child artist in 2003, at the age of 12 through Bollywood film ‘Hawa’. Hansika’s first lead role came through the Telugu language film ‘Desamuduru directed by Puri Jagannadh in 2007, for which she won the Filmfare Award for Best Female Debut
