Namitha Kapoor is a south Indian actress who mainly acts in Tamil and Telugu language films. Her real name is Namita Mukesh Vankawala and she participated in the Miss India contest in 2001. She appeared in several TV commercials before entering the film industry. Namitha made her film debut in 2005 through the Telugu film Sontham directed by Sreenu Vitla. Later she acted over 40 films in Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam language films.
